Episode 30- Junior Achievement
Join us for an exciting episode as we speak with Marina Leight about her recent experiences as a volunteer educator. Marina Leight, is a VP with a major US media company. This past year she “volunteered” to teach a Junior Achievement course for her daughter, Alex’s 4th grade class. Marina has a background in Education, having been a public school elementary grade teacher, and then moving on to become the Editor in Chief of Converge, a prominent Education publication. This exciting experience with the fourth grade class spans problem solving, resource management, teamwork, and creative development, all while giving elementary-aged students a chance to see how finance really works! Enjoy the episode and the insights it gives to the Junior Achievement program, and listen closely so you don’t miss the Surprise Guest!
